Nutrítious. adj. [from nutrio, Latin.] Having the quality of nourishing.

              O may'st thou often see
Thy furrows whiten'd by the woolly rain
Nutritious! secret nitre lurks within. Philips.

The heat equal to incubation is only nutritious; and the nutritious juice itself resembles the white of an egg in all its qualities. Arbuthnot on Aliments.
