    1. Did Johnson write a preface or introduction to his dictionary? I want to use such a preface as a type of essay for use in my Advanced Composition class.

    7. Hi I am writing a paper about Johnson’s dictionary and I and frustrated cause I can’t find anywhere what did he mean by “n.s.”??!!! I’m pretty sure that “n” is for “noun” but what is the “s”????!!!
